Blues coach, Leon McDonald knows that they will need to uplift their game this week as they will be facing a different type of challenge on Friday.
The former Crusaders Assistant coach says they know that Scott Robertson’s men will be turning up with their best players since they always rebounded well after a loss.
McDonald says in their 32-12 victory over the Waratahs last week, players showed a lot of tenacity and a little bit of relentlessness which was something they had been discussing.
He says if they bring this intensity right to the end, every week they will be a challenge for any team.
After two rounds of competition, the Blues are in 5th place while the Crusaders are in 6th place.
Meanwhile, Crusaders Assistant coach, Jason Ryan confirmed that the they will be welcoming back first-five eighth Richie Mo'unga when they take on the Blues at 6.05pm this Friday.
