Springbok Sevens coach, Neil Powell has named an unchanged squad for the Cape Town Sevens.
Siviwe Soyizwapi will lead the same 11 men on the field that left Dubai last weekend as gold medal winners, a feat that will see them running out in front of their home fans as first seeds and early leaders in the 2019/2020 World Rugby Sevens Series.
Powell says that there was no real need to change the squad after they did so well in Dubai.
He says they did bring in Hacjivah Dayimani as the 13th player, but his ankle injury had kicked back during their training sessions.
He says the players realise that last week's performance will not count this week and they know that they are playing three very capable opponents and they will have to be at their very best just to get out of their pool.
South Africa is pooled with Fiji, USA and Japan.
The Cape Town 7s will be held from tomorrow till Monday.
