The leading South African try scorer from the USA Sevens, Seabelo Senatla has been ruled out of the New Zealand Sevens with injury.
South Africa which sits on top of the current Series standings following their 14-7 victory over New Zealand last week in USA will be without its top wing next weekend.
Head coach, Neil Powell said the team is looking forward to maintain their good form and consistency.
The South Africa 7s team will have players like Kyle Brown, Chris Dry, Frankie Horne, Branco du Preez and Cecil Afrika.
Their Pool A opponents in Wellington are Wales, Portugal and England.
Meanwhile, Fiji will play New Zealand in its first pool match at 2:06pm next Friday.
