Ben Barba who was once the best fullback in the NRL has been deregistered by the NRL after an investigation found he had been involved in a physical altercation with his partner.
NRL CEO Todd Greenberg said he did not see a time "or any time in the future" when Barba would be welcomed back to the game.
The finding came after the integrity unit viewed CCTV footage of the incident involving Barba and his partner at a casino last month.
