Beau O'Brien celebrates after winning the World Boxing Foundation’s Australasia middleweight title fight in Nadi last night

Former New Zealand Professional Boxing Association's light‑middleweight champion Beau O'Brien won the World Boxing Foundation’s Australasia middleweight title fight in Nadi last night.

He won through a technical knockout against Siliveni Nawai in the main bout of the Canada Fiji Southern Boxing Promotions at Prince Charles Park.

The referee stopped the fight in the sixth round after Nawai could not continue with the challenge.
