Baulevu High creates history by winning first ever Secondary Schools Soccer Championship

Baulevu High School has won its first ever Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Championship beating Cuvu College 1-0 in the final.

This is a sweet victory for the people of Baulevu who reside some kilometres away from Nausori Town.

Baulevu High School has been trying hard to win the Championship for the last few years and the School has finally achieved its dream under the guidance of Coach, Rohit Ritesh Sharma.

Jovesa Raila scored the winning goal for Baulevu.

Sharma says this is a great achievement for Baulevu High which has a student roll of just over 250.

Baulevu High School has received $1,200 as the winning prizemoney.

A D Patel College from Ba has won the Under 15 final after beating Seaqaqa Central College 2-nil in the final.

Meanwhile, A D Patel College beat Kamil Muslim College 2-0 in the final of the Girls Open Grade.
