Bangladesh beats Afghanistan by 62 runs at Cricket World Cup

Bangladesh beat Afghanistan by 62 runs in a match of the Cricket World Cup.

The win means Bangladesh are now fifth in the World Cup table, one place behind England with the top four teams progressing to the semifinals.

Bangladesh will now play India at 9.30pm next Tuesday while Afghanistan will play Pakistan at 9.30pm this Saturday.

Meanwhile, England will play defending champions Australia at 9.30 tonight.

The group stage format is a round robin, where all ten teams play each other once, in a single group.

This means a total of 45 matches will be played, with each team playing a total of nine matches.

The top four teams from the group will progress to the semifinals.

New Zealand currently lead the points table, Australia is in second place, India in is third place while England come in fourth.

The first semifinal will be played on the 9th of next month at 9.30pm while the second semifinal will be played on the 10th of next month at 9.30pm.

The final will be played on the 14th of next month.
