Bala tells Fiji Football to investigate drug abuse among Ba Football players

The Minister for Youth and Sports Parveen Bala says the Ministry has asked the Fiji Football Association to investigate the issue of drug abuse amongst the Ba Football players adding that till today this has been an allegation.

Bala made this comment in his response to a question by Fiji First parliamentarian Salik Govind on the issue of drug abuse amongst Ba Football players.

Bala says a report on the investigation will be given to the Ministry by the Association.

Bala says the Ministry is now finalizing the draft National Sports and Drugs Policy and they are currently creating awareness about the policy.
