Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama yesterday presented the Fiji Airways Drua team their Jerseys for the final of the National Rugby Championship against Queensland Country.
While speaking at the ceremony, Bainimarama says the Drua has won the hearts of many fans in their NRC campaign.
Also present at the ceremony was the Commissioner of Police Sitiveni Qiliho and the Commander of the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces Viliame Naupoto.
Bainimarama stated that the Fijian people are already happy with their performance so far, however, fellow Fijians expect nothing less than a win in today’s game.
Bainimarama says that the Drua has prepared well and its time to get on the field and make their families, villages, communities, district and their nation proud.
The Fiji Airways Drua will meet the Queensland Country at 3.30 this afternoon at Churchill Park in the NRC final and you can catch the live commentary on VitiFM.
