The defending champions were too good for Fiji as they led 38-19 at halftime.
New Zealand led right from the start and dominated possession across the court.
Fiji will now meet England in the third place playoff at 2am tomorrow.
Australia defeated England 59-39 in the semifinals.
New Zealand and Australia will meet in the final.
