Baber to attend Radradra 7s tournament

Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach Gareth Baber will be scouting for some players at the Radradra 7s tournament in Taveuni.

Tournament Director Sakiasi Veitogavi says Baber’s presence will boost the performance of the players who are eager to be part of the national side.

Baber is expected to be in Taveuni today to scout out the new players and observe some of the performances of the overseas based players participating in the tournament.

Baber’s focus now is to select players for the upcoming 2019/2020 HSBC Sevens Series and the team that will try to defend their Olympic medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

The Radradra 7s began yesterday with the opening ceremony of the tournament and will end this Saturday.
