Ba has sent a stern warning to all the teams after a brilliant performance in the final pool match of the Courts IDC beating Rewa 2‑0 at Govind Park.
Ba’s Laisenia Raura scored just in the 1st minute of the match.
The hosts showed their class and applied tremendous pressure as captain Avinesh Suwamy scored with a cracker of a shot from 40 metres in the 40th minute of the second half.
Ba who has topped Group B will face Group A runner‑up Suva in the second semifinal at 7pm tomorrow while Labasa will play Nadi in the first semifinal at 5pm.
Suva surprised everyone after thrashing Nadi 3‑0 to qualify for the semifinals.
Maciu Dunadamu was the hero of the side scoring all the goals.
Nadi has qualified as the Group A winner while Suva has come in as the runner‑up.
Dreketi created a major upset yesterday when they beat Lautoka 2-1.
