The Ba soccer team has suspended a number of key players ahead of the last round of group matches of the Inkk Mobile BOG.

The players that are suspended include Ilimotama Jese, Manasa Nawakula, Simione Nabenu, Kalaveti Sivoi, Sitiveni Cavuilagi, Savenaca Nakalevu, Amena Bola and Samuela Nabenia.

Fijivillage has been informed that these players broke camp and failed to show up for training yesterday.

Ba is now left with 13 players which includes two goalkeepers.

When contacted, the CEO of the Fiji Football Association, Mohammed Yusuf confirmed receiving a correspondence from Ba Football in relation to the suspension.

He says more details will be released later as they are going through formalities.

We understand the Ba soccer team may not have enough registered players to bring to Nausori and will ask Fiji FA to allow them to register some players who were not considered for the tournament.

Ba will face Suva at 7pm this Friday at Ratu Cakobau Park and you can catch the live commentary on Radio Sargam on 103.4FM.

Ba needs to win this match to qualify to the semis while Suva just needs a draw to confirm its spot in the final four teams.
