Ba soccer team defeat Suva 3-1 in VPL match

The Ba soccer team defeated Suva 3-1 in their Vodafone Premier League match at Fiji FA Academy ground in Ba this afternoon.

Saula Waqa scored the opening goal for Ba, Avinesh Waran Swamy netted the second goal while Malakai Tiwa scored the third goal.

Ba was leading 1-0 at halftime.

Ba now lead the points table with 23 points, Lautoka is second with 16 points while Suva are in third place with 12 points.

Meanwhile, Nadi will play Tavua at 3pm tomorrow at Prince Charles Park while Lautoka will take on Nasinu at 3pm tomorrow at Churchill Park.
