The Ba rugby side has been ruled out of the B Division rugby competition after fielding an unregistered player in their team.
This has allowed Malolo to qualify for the semifinals.
The defending champion, Ba, had fielded prop Tevita Qoro.
Fiji Rugby Union match commissioner Penisoni Waki said that Ba has forfeited their win.
Waki added that the protest was lodged by the Beqa Rugby Union and it was ruled in their favor.
Malolo will now face Naitasiri Northern Bulls in the first semifinal while Ra will take on Cakaudrove in the second semifinal at Churchill Park in Lautoka next Saturday.
The winner of the B Division will be a challenger in the HFC Bank Farebrother Trophy.
