Ba goalie to help Kamil Muslim College in schools soccer semifinal

Ba soccer goalkeeper Misiwane Nairube who is the captain of the Kamil Muslim College Under 19 side says they will give their best shot as they face Natabua High School in the first semifinal of the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Championship.

Nairube says they will try their best to win the title as the school last won the Championship 17 years ago.

Kamil Muslim College beat Nadi Muslim College 3-nil in the quarter final.

In other quarterfinals, Nukuloa College thrashed LDS 6-nil, Natabua High School beat the Xavier college 2-nil while defending champion Saraswati College beat Shreedhar Maharaj College 4-nil.

Natabua High School will face Kamil Muslim College in the first semifinal this hour while defending champion Saraswati College will take on Nukuloa College at 9.30am in the 2nd semi-final.

The final will be played at 3pm today at Ratu Cakobau Park.
