Ba duo join Hekari United FC
Top Ba soccer team defender Alvin Singh and striker Malakai Tiwa have received a timely boost to their soccer career after they signed up with O-LEAGUE champions Hekari United FC.

Singh and Tiwa will join Hekari which already has the services of Ba team mate Tuimasi Manuca.

The side will be undergoing two months of serious training starting this week to prepare for the 2010 FIFA Club World Cup championships in the United Arab Emirates in December.

Hekari United franchise owner John Natto said apart from their local recruits, he has retained the services of all their Solomon Islands and Fiji players.

Natto said the side had been boosted with two more Fijians, Tiwa and Singh, to the already overseas-infested team.

The franchise owner said training has been good with new players blending well with others already in the camp.
