The Ba and Lautoka soccer teams have received $50,000 each from Vodafone Fiji for their 2019 OFC Champions League campaign.

While handing over the sponsorship cheque, Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel announced that a sponsorship top‑up for the teams progressing to the quarter‑finals and further knockout stages.

Patel says as the teams qualify for the second round, which is the knockout stages, there will be more bonus coming to the teams.

Lautoka who lost the final last year will host Tahiti’s AS Central Sport, PNG’s Morobe Wawens and a team yet to be confirmed.

Ba will travel to Vanuatu to play Erakor Golden Star and last years winners Team Wellington and a team yet to be confirmed.
