Australia beat New Zealand 24-10 to win inaugural Rugby League 9s World Cup

Mitchell Moses scored a hat-trick as Australia beat New Zealand 24-10 to win the inaugural Rugby League 9s World Cup.

The Kangaroos led 13-10 at the break.

The Kiwis tried hard to get back into the game in the second half but two tries from Moses secured the victory.

Reimis Smith and Jamayne Isaako scored for New Zealand.

Australia had beaten Samoa 25-8 in the first semi-final while New Zealand beat England 22-6 in the second semi-final.
