Another Fijian Jone Naikabula will make his debut for the Japan 7s team in the Hong Kong 7s today.
The 22-year-old from Nadroga will play alongside his Fijian teammate Kameli Soejima.
Naikabula had attended Kelston Boys High School in New Zealand before he moved to Japan to play club rugby.
Also making his debut for New Zealand is newcomer 26-year-old Joe Ravouvou who now joins Vilimoni Koroi in the All Blacks 7s team.
Joe Nayacavou has also been named to play for Scotland this weekend while Andrew Durutalo retains the number 6 jersey for the USA 7s team.
Barring any upsets, Fiji is likely to meet France, Kenya or Canada in the quarterfinal, England or USA in the semifinal, South Africa or New Zealand in the final.
Fiji will play their first game against Japan at 11.54pm tonight, they will take on Wales at 5.12pm tomorrow before they play New Zealand in their final pool match at 9.12pm tomorrow.
The quarterfinals will start at 2.58pm Sunday, the semifinals will start at 7.31pm Sunday while the Final will be held at 11pm Sunday.
