Marist Brothers High School sprinter Apolosi Ratumudu was beaten by Anasa Kaito in the final of the senior boys 100 metres at the Marist interhouse today.
Ratumudu who beat Gospel High School sprinter Aaron Powell in the intermediate boys 100 metres last year will be experiencing his first year in the senior division this year.
19-year-old Kaito who hails from Naroi, Bua, Vanua Levu showed his experience to win the Marist senior boys blue ribbon event and will also be running in the 400 and 800 metres events.
Kaito won silver last year in the senior boys 400 and 800 metres.
Lambert is currently leading the Marist interhouse with 4,153 points, Augustine is second with 3,990 points, Alphonsus in third place with 3,438 points while Claudius has 3,081 points.
The Marist Brothers High School interhouse continues at the ANZ Stadium.
