The All Blacks could slide even further down in the world rugby rankings if things don't go their way in European action this weekend.
A win by any margin for Ireland over England in their Rugby World Cup warm‑up clash at Twickenham on Sunday would see them move from third to first.
The All Blacks currently sit on 2nd place despite their 36-0 win over the Wallabies in their Bledisloe Cup decider last Saturday after Wales beat England to end New Zealand’s reign at the top after almost a decade.
Meanwhile, a win for England – again by any margin – would see them leap‑frog South Africa into fourth spot.
