Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero has equaled the record of 11 Premier League hat‑tricks following the brilliant 6-0 win against Chelsea this morning.
He shares this spot with English Footballer Allan Shearer who has also scored 11 Premier League hat-tricks.
As well as being level with Shearer for hat‑tricks, Aguero is ahead of Premier League greats Robbie Fowler who has scored 9 hat-tricks, Thierry Henry, Harry Kane, and Michael Owen who have scored 8 and Wayne Rooney who has scored 7.
The win took Manchester City back to the top of the Premier League table with 65 points and 54 goals differential.
Liverpool are now placed second with 65 points and 44 goals differential while Tottenham who have 60 points are placed third.
Manchester United are placed 4th with 51 points.
