The Australian Rugby Union places a six‑figure bet on their side to win the Rugby World Cup final.

According to reports in the Sydney Morning Herald, the ARU has bet FJD$465,694 on a Wallabies victory to help cover the costs of players’ potential win bonuses.

All players in the 31‑man squad stand to earn FJD$155,231 bonus if they come through against the All Blacks on Sunday.

Meanwhile, All Blacks players would each take home a FJD$217,974 bonus for winning the final.

If New Zealand lose the final and take home the silver medal, their bonus will dip to FJD$50,860 for each player.

The Wallabies will clash with the All Blacks in the 2015 Rugby World Cup final at 5am Sunday while South Africa will meet Argentina at 8am Saturday in the third place playoff.
