$8,000 prize money up for grabs in the first ever Radradra 7s

40 Men's teams will be vying for the $8,000 prize money up for grabs in the first ever Radradra 7s this month.

The tournament is sponsored by Flying Fijian and Former Sevens rep Semi Radradra who currently plays for Bordeaux in the Top 14 in France.

It is aimed at supporting grassroots rugby by bringing together 7s players from Taveuni and around the country to showcase their talent.

Some teams that have confirmed their participation are 2017 Raka 7s champs Ratu Filise, First Light Taveuni, Army LFC and Gau Kacau Knights.

There is also a Under 20 rugby competition and Netball.

The Radradra 7s will be held on the 19th to the 22nd of this month at the Welagi Ground, Taveuni.
