8 schools confirm Lautoka Zone participation

Eight schools have confirmed their participation in the Lautoka Athletics Zone next week.

Organisers say eleven schools had initially confirmed their participation but three have withdrawn as they could not re-organise themselves after Monster Cyclone Winston hit Fiji last month.

The three schools that have pulled out are Yasawa Secondary, Vishnu Deo Memorial College and Drasa Secondary School.

The Lautoka Athletics Zone will be held next Friday and Saturday.

Natabua High School is the defending champion in the boys division of the Lautoka Zone while Jasper Williams High School is the defending girls champion.
