4 new caps named in Flying Fijians squad

The Flying Fijians rugby coaching staff have named four new caps for the opening Pacific Nations Cup game against Tonga on Saturday.

Lock, Tevita Cavubati who is former Fiji rep Bill Cavubati's younger brother, and full-back Kini Murimurivalu who featured in the winning QVS Under 19 Deans team in 2006, will earn their first cap for Fiji after been included in the starting line-up.

Nadroga duo Penijamini Makutu and Adriu Delai will start from the bench in the side that coach Samu Domoni Jnr has named today.

Deacon Manu will lead the side with experienced players like Graham Dewes, Dominiko Waqaniburotu, Nicky Little, Gabby Lovobalavu, Albert Vulivuli, Timoci Nagusa and Vereniki Goneva in the run on team.

Tailevu halfback, Nemia Kenatale will partner Nicky Little for the first time.

Fiji will take on Tonga on Saturday at 3.10pm and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.
