Four of the overseas based teams that will play in the Digicel Suva International Sevens next month are the same ones playing in the IRB Sevens Series.
Organizer Jeremy Duxbury has confirmed that Tonga, Samoa, USA, and Hong Kong will use the Suva International Sevens as their buildup tournament to the New Zealand Sevens.
Duxbury said Samoa which lost to New Zealand in the Dubai final before beating them in pool play in South Africa, is coming into the tournament with the same team which will have Lolo Lui and Mikaele Pesamino.
If PNG comes in, they will be drawn with Samoa, Ratu Filise and the runner up from the Suva Sevens in Labasa in pool D.
The Suva International Sevens will be held at the TFL Stadium from the 21st to the 23rd of January.
