Netball Fiji has selected 37 players from the Digicel Punjas Fiji Netball Championship to be part of the Fiji Pearls training squad that will face the South Africa next month.
Netball Fiji President, Wainikiti Bogidrau says its exciting to have new players in the squad as these kind of tournaments bring out hidden talents in the country.
She adds that the selected players will go through an intensive training programme that will start from Monday for a four day period which includes strength and conditioning training, court work and skills training.
She adds that the Fiji Pearl will also have test matches against Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England.
The Fiji Pearls will play South Africa in a two test series on the 6th and the 8th of next month at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
