A talented blend of youth and experienced players has been named in the 33-men Fijian Latui squad for the inaugural Global Rapid Rugby Competition which kicks off next month in Suva.
Players such as Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Joeli Veitayaki, Eremasi Radrodro, Serupepeli Vularika and Tevita Ikanavere have been included in the squad.
Jiuta Wainiqolo who was part of the extended Fiji Airways Men’s National 7’s team earlier this year has also been named.
Head Coach Senirusi Seruvakula says the quality of talent to select from, provided a strong competition for positions in the final squad.
He says the decision to select the best was tough and this shows that players have been competing within the group.
The Fijian Latui will take on the China Lions in their first match of the Global Rapid Rugby competition on the 14th of next month at the ANZ National Stadium.
