3 athletes receive Pacific Games medals today

Three athletes were awarded medals today which are from the 2011 Pacific Games which were held in New Caledonia.
Weightlifter, Elesi Ikanidrodro won a gold medal while fellow weightlifter Ana Garnett was awarded a bronze medal and surfer Ian Muller received a silver medal.
This comes after positive doping cases at the Noumea Games which resulted in the Pacific Games council amending the results of relevant competitions.
The guilty athletes have been banned for two years.
Fiji's official medal tally from the games now stands at 34 gold, 45 silver and 54 bronze.
