The 2017 Galaxy Kaji Rugby tournament was officially launched today with teams of 6 grades from 19 districts around the country confirmed for participation.

While presenting the cheque of $120,000 to tournament organisers, Fiji Dairy Ltd Operations Manager Hardik Patel says that they hope to continue to support the growth of rugby in the country through Kaji Rugby for the fourth year running.

Former Flying Fijians forward Viliame Gadolo was also present as Chief Guest at the launch with Fiji 7s strength and conditioning coach Nacanieli Cawanibuka.

Fiji Primary School Kaji Rugby Association President Joji Seruiratu says that with the confirmation of the sponsorship from Rewa Galaxy, organisers have managed to secure the ANZ Stadium as and dates for the competition.

He adds that they will be using the Veiuto and Grammar grounds as well throughout the tournament.

The Galaxy Kaji Rugby tournament will be held from the 14th to the 17th of this month.
