The 16 teams for the eliminations of the FIFA World Cup have been finalized after the final set of group matches this morning.
Brazil will play Chile, Colombia play Uruguay, Netherlands meet Mexico, Costa Rica take on Greece, France face Nigeria, Germany will clash with Algeria, Argentina will play Switzerland and Belgium face USA.
Looking at the results today, Algeria created history by reaching the World Cup eliminations for the first time after they drew 1-all with Russia, Belgium defeated South Korea 1-nil, Portugal beat Ghana 2-1 while Germany beat USA 1-nil.
Meanhwile, Uruguay striker Luis Suarez has been banned from worldwide football‑related activity for four months for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.
The FIFA World Cup eliminations will start this Sunday with Brazil taking on Chile at 4am followed by Colombia and Uruguay at 8am.
