Vodafone Fiji Bati’s Viliame Kikau’s try could not help his Panther’s side as they went down 26-22 against the Sharks last night.
With 828 NRL games worth of experience missing, the Sharks put in their best performance of the year to break a two‑game losing streak.
The Sharks were leading the Panthers 10‑6 at half time.
The Dragons lead the NRL points table with 12 points, the Warriors are second also with 12 points, the Panthers are third with 10 points while the Wests Tigers are fourth with 10 points.
This week the Dragons will face the Roosters at 6pm Wednesday and the Storm will face the Warriors at 9pm.
On Thursday, Rabbitohs will play the Broncos at 9.50pm.
On Friday, the Sea Eagles will meet the Knights at 8pm while the Panthers will face the Bulldogs at 9.50pm
The Titans will take on the Sharks at 9.35pm Saturday and the Eels will face the Wests Tigers at 6.10pm
