One of the most awaited boxing fights in the country ended in minutes last night as Fiji’s best pound for pound boxer gets knocked out in the first round.
37-year-old “ The Razor “ Junior Farzan Ali who has had 25 wins from 32 fights gave up in the first round after receiving powerful punches from the “The Sniper “ Sebastian Singh who is World Boxing Federation Asia Pacific super lightweight champion.
It was one powerful punch from 23‑year‑old, Sebastian Singh that resulted in the knockout and saw him win the main bout in the Canada Fiji Southern Boxing Promotions program at Prince Charles Park.
Before the fight Singh had predicted a knockout despite being up against experience as he has had only 10 fights, winning eight, five by knockout and lost two.
