The Central Chow Games will start today at the ANZ stadium.
Last year, Veiuto Primary School entered the competition as an individual school team and successfully claimed the Girls title in the Central Division.
Veiuto won the overall title at the Suva Zone 2 Chow Games this year.
Yat Sen Primary School has also dropped out from their zone and will be participating as an individual school along with Veiuto and this could pose a threat to defending Central Chow Games champion, Suva 1.
Meanwhile, the Western Chow Games will also start at Churchill Park in Lautoka today.
Lautoka is the defending champion.
Meanwhile Seaqaqa won the overall 2017 Northern Division Chow Games last week after claiming 16 Gold, 7 Silver and 9 Bronze.
The Central and Western Chow Games will kick start at 9.30 this morning and will end tomorrow.
