Never stop being a life long learner and never lose compassion - Waqainabete to FNU graduates

Minister for Health Dr. Ifereimi Waqainabete today told 277 Fiji National University graduates that they will find the world very brutal at times therefore, they need to understand the journey they now take on.

While speaking during the graduation ceremony for students of FNU College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Science, National Training and Productivity Center and College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Waqainabete told them to never stop being a life long learner and never to lose compassion.

He reminded the students not to forget those that brought them this far.

Waqainabete says that these includes parents and guardians who sacrificed for them in their times of need and he advised the graduates to honor that sacrifice.

He also stressed that they will never know the better version of who they are unless they continue to grow.

In his closing address, Waqainabete told the graduates to block out the political chaos and concentrate on journeys that a worthwhile.

The first round of the 2019 FNU graduation ended today with a total of 1,396 students graduated in the last three days.
