Firefighters have managed to contain a fire that broke out at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital's boiler room.

National Fire Authority Chief Fire Officer, Qionilau Moceitai says that the firefighters managed to stop the fire from spreading to the hospital’s laundry room.
Moceitai says that the fire started around 4pm and NFA received the call at 4.07pm adding that two fire trucks with a team of 20 firefighters attended to the fire.
He has also confirmed that there has been no reports of any injuries or fatalities.
Moceitai says that tomorrow NFA will begin their investigation on how the fire started.
Health Officials were quick to evacuate patients and staff from nearby facilities as a precautionary measure.
