A heavy rain warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji.
The Nadi Weather Office says a Tropical Disturbance with an associated active trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the Fiji Group.
People can expect continuous heavy rain and thunderstorms and localised heavy rain may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
A Flood alert remains ‘in force for all low lying areas, small streams and areas adjacent to major rivers for the whole of Fiji.
Meanwhile Fiji Roads Authority has confirmed that eight roads in the Western division are closed due to flood waters.
These are the following roads that are currently closed, Navala Street in Ba, Lawaki Road, Nailuva Road, Navuni-yau-munu Road, Lau Road and Nausori Road in Rakiraki, Nase-yani Road and Dramasi Road in Tavua.
However all roads in the Central, Eastern and Nothern Division remain open.
