16 year old Joave Robinson left Lautoka yesterday morning to prepare himself for his first ever Student Designer show for Fiji Fashion week 2014.
Robinson a Year 11 student of Tilak High school said when he found it hard to afford the fabric for his pieces, he baked cup-cakes and sold them from home.
Another student designer Mereani Naisarani of Suva Grammar School is getting ready to showcase her collection which she says reflects nature.
The 16 year old says with her family by her side today at the Grand Pacific Hotel she is looking forward to her first ever show.
The student designer show begins this hour and the Established Designer show is at 7 this evening at the Grand Pacific Hotel
