Some male students allegedly caught having sex with some girls in the girls dormitory in secondary school in Ba

Serious allegations have surfaced about some students involved in underage sex in a secondary school in Ba as some male students have been caught in the girls’ dormitory a few times.

Fijivillage News has been told by some concerned parents that the most recent incident was last month.

We have been alerted by these parents that some male students have been caught a few times having sex with the girls from the same school in the girls’ dormitory.

It is also alleged that some girls who had witnessed these incidents were threatened by some of the boys and some girls were allegedly punched by the boys. 

There are also reports of marijuana, glue and suki or Fijian Tobacco found in the school premises.

We have contacted the Ministry of Education and Police.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says their community policing officers visited the school in Ba and had a meeting with the teachers and students regarding the allegations and information received about the boys going into the girls’ dormitory.

Some parents have called for immediate action in relation to these illegal activities occurring at the school.

We are also awaiting comments from the Education Ministry.
