Save the Children Fiji is looking to assist 14,000 children through their education assistance scheme.

CEO Iris Low‑McKenzie said they had received $2 million to help children affected by Cyclone Winston to return to school.

McKenzie said they are working with the Ministry of Education to identify children who need assistance.

She said they had distributed 500 school kits in the Western Division and they are now focusing on other areas.

McKenzie added that their officers are still out in the field providing them the number of children that need assistance.
