Samoa will host the next Pacific Games.
The Pacific Games Council has unanimously agreed to award the hosting rights for the 2019 Pacific Games to the Pacific Games Association of Samoa.
The council congratulated Samoa and stated that they will help Samoa in anyway possible in the short time available for the preparation.
Tonga who were supposed to host the games pulled out earlier this year.
