Korovou Town and Wailotua Flats on Kings Road now open to motorists

Korovou Town and the Wailotua Flats on Kings Road is now open to motorists.

This was confirmed by the Fiji Roads Authority stating that the Kasavu Landslide, located north of the Kasavu to Baulevu Road Junction on Kings Road is currently open to traffic and operating as a single lane.

They also confirm that there is still potential for full closure of the road if there are further slips.

FRA confirms that the site is under 24 hour monitoring with traffic controllers onsite.

It has also been confirmed that the Queens Road is open, single lane in some places but open to traffic.
