ITaukei Affairs Board works with UNDP for National Strategy

The iTaukei Affairs Board is working in collaboration with the UNDP in putting together a training package for both the iTaukei and non‑iTaukei Community called the National Strategy.

The objective of this training is to facilitate traditional leaders on the style of leadership skills they should acquire when dealing with development, social and cultural issues that may arise from their different communities.

Different agencies that contribute to this National Strategy include the UNDP, iTaukei Affairs Board, Department of Social Welfare, Election Office, Ministry of Lands, National Disaster Management, NGO’s, Fiji Disabled Society and Westpac Bank for Financial Literacy Module.
