The government has provided necessary resources that will help the Fiji Police Force work more efficiently and effectively.
Commissioner of Police, Sitiveni Qiliho highlighted this at the opening of the Fiji Women's Crisis Centre and UNDP Workshop on gender based violence for officers in the Southern division.
Qiliho says he does not want to hear excuses that police officers were not able to do their work appropriately because of lack of resources.
He adds that everything an officer would need to complete assignments and cases have been granted to them.
Meanwhile Qiliho says the last thing he wants to hear from officers are complains.
He adds that as police officers, the processes and procedures they follow regarding attendance and investigation into cases should not change.
The workshop will end this Friday.
