It was an emotional day for 22-year-old, Henry Waqavakatoga a former wheelbarrow boy who will join Fiji Link as a flight attendant after completing his training.
While celebrating Fiji Link's first birthday at Ratu Sukuna Park yesterday, Waqavakatoga says that there is nothing that can stop people from achieving their dreams.
The former Suva Grammar School student says he faced a lot of hardships growing up.
He also shared that in 2011 his father passed away and he worked as a wheelbarrow boy in order to look after his family for three years.
He says the most challenging and difficult part of his training was to swim two laps but the thought of raising his son motivated him.
Meanwhile, Fiji Link also launched its first ever female captain Hartlene Yuen to join the ATR fleet yesterday.
