Five prisoners who escaped from the Naboro Maximum Security complex have been charged for one count each of damaging property and escaping from lawful custody.
These escapees are Ulaiasi Qalomai, Filipe Delana, Mesulame Waqabaca, Josaia Usamaki and Bainivalu Tuimatavesi
Two other prisoners Solomoni Qurai and Peniasi Qalibau are yet to be charged because they are still admitted at the CWM Hospital due to injuries sustained while escaping from the prison.
The seven prisoners escaped last Monday.
Police investigations will also focus on those prison officers who aided and assisted the 7 prisoners to escape.
