Concerns have been raised this morning by residents in Samabula of a group of people that were drinking alcohol at Komo Park in Samabula.
They contacted Fijivillage about this issue and we then alerted Police Commissioner, Sitiveni Qiliho who then instructed his officers to clear the park.
When Fijivillage arrived at Komo Park, the Park had been cleared.
Last week Saturday, Fijivillage witnessed five men drinking in the children’s playing area of Komo Park and police were trying to chase them away from the area at about 8.30am.
