Bau Island to have a newly built seawall by the end of the year

77 families of Bau Island will soon have the chance of being protected from the rise in sea level when their newly built seawall is completed by the end of this year.

Bau District representative, Epineri Sake says this project started late last year with a total cost of more than $500,000

Bau Island has a capacity of 13 acres.
